12 years and counting. EST 2013
Bliss Yoga Accra is where yoga in Ghana truly began. We’ve been here from the very beginning, gently introducing yoga to Ghana and growing alongside the community we serve. What makes Bliss special isn’t just that we were one of the first—it’s the feeling you get when you walk in. The calm. The care. Bliss isn’t just a studio. It’s family.

About The Founder: Nana Amoako-Anin
[500-HR E-RYT® & YACEP® Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed Provider].
Nana Amoako-Anin is the founder of the studio, the creative director of the 200-Hour April Yoga Alliance Teacher Training, and a program advisor for all studio operations. As a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years, Bliss Yoga Accra began as more than a studio — it began as Nana’s personal path to healing. After years of building a demanding legal/banking career in the U.S., Nana discovered yoga as a refuge. What started as a way to find balance in her own life quickly grew into a calling: to share the practice with others searching for peace, strength, and renewal. When Nana returned to Ghana, she dreamed of creating a space where people could lay down the weight of the world and reconnect with themselves. A place that felt both grounding and uplifting, open to everybody and every journey. That dream became Bliss Yoga Accra! Founded in 2013. She's a regular fixture at studio classes and loves to engage with the studio community!
